We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic CCTV Operator to join our dynamic team on a permanent basis. This role is perfect for anyone who is experienced and enjoys working within a Control Room environment.

How you will make an impact as a CCTV Operator:
  • The role of a CCTV Operator is interesting and varied, you will be responsible for protecting our customer's property, people and assets by providing security services to a specific site in direct accordance with the customer's assignment instructions.
  • You will be working onsite from the CCTV Control room with a global Technology client, assisting people all over the world whilst providing excellent customer service.
  • You will be communicating with all areas of the organisation, from IT to HR.
  • You will assist with the organisation of all security personnel throughout their shift in support of the Line Manager.
  • You will operate CCTV and adhere to the site code of practice and will be responsible for creating and distributing CCTV images.
  • The role will consist of responsibilities such as monitoring and management of the appearance, and behaviours of all Security personnel, actively encouraging staff recognition, and ensuring all incidents are reported in compliance with customer and company policy and procedures.
  • You will also assist the Security Management Team in developing and sharing "Best Practices" and the use of systems and tools to improve service effectiveness.
  • You will also help with CCTV technology enhancement by conducting operational tests to ensure that users are fully compliant.
  • Daily, you will monitor faults with securityrelated equipment, ensuring issues are reported correctly.
  • You will become fully conversant with operational functions including Access Control, CCTV, Detection and Alarm Systems, ensuring an effective monitoring and reporting function is maintained.

Essential Skills:


What you will bring to be a CCTV Operator:

  • Ideally, the applicant will have a previous CCTV Operation or Security background
  • Our employees are wellpresented, courteous and proactive when engaging with customers to ensure a complete customer experience is provided, as we aim to maintain our outstanding reputation for excellence.
  • An SIA CCTV License is mandatory
  • Applicants will possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Applicants will possess a basic understanding of IT systems that work alongside CCTV systems
  • Applicants will have good communication skills, able to articulate with authority
  • You must be able to remain calm and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
  • You will be vigilant and alert, able to use a blend of caution with a decisive commonsense approach to your duties.
  • All applicants must hold a clear 5year checkable employment history
  • Applicants must be able to work 24/7 shift pattern (42hrs per week over 3.5 Days).
