We are seeking a qualified English teacher as our new Head of Literacy to join our exciting journey.
Twynham School and The Grange School (TGS) federated teaching structures in September 2021 enabling us to deliver world class educational experiences to students across both of our schools.
Since then, Twynham School has celebrated record GCSE results and TGS has been judged "good" in all areas by Ofsted.
This is a rare opportunity to join our organisation working as a Head of Literacy.Working alongside the Director of English and Executive SENDCo as a teacher of English you will be responsible for leading a highly effective literacy intervention team across our two schools.

We are looking for an outstanding individual who will relish the opportunity to:
- Lead a strong and experienced literacy department working closely with the Director of English and Executive SENDCo
- Lead the implementation of an exciting and highly effective literacy intervention programme across two schools
- Provide exceptional programmes of support for students who have not met national standards in literacy
- Work with exceptional professionals to further develop a shared understanding of learning
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding and Child Protection policies
