Our client is an in-house investment team who take a highly innovative investment approach and invest directly inhouse.

The Senior Middle Office Operations Analyst will act as the Cash SME and will provide operational support to the investment team acrossall trading activity across both public & private markets.

This a fantastic opportunity to work closely with front office who invest directly across most asset types including Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Alternative investments such as private markets, property and wind farms offering huge exposure.

Working as part of a highly experienced, impressive Operations team, this role will contribute to Middle Office BAU responsibilities as well as act as the Cash SME for the business.

As the owner for cash, you will also work with the change team to definecash processes to be migrated on to a new IBOR system.

To be considered, Middle Office Operations Analysts will have cash management as well as oversight experience of the full trade life-cycle (investigating failed trades, ensuring trade matching & settlement, reconciliations, cash & liquidity forecasting/management,margin & collateral management) for either Equity, Fixed Income or Derivatives and will be accustomed to working closely with third party administration providers, custodians and Clearers.

Your strong interpersonal and communication skills will be utilised to interact extensively with third party administrators and across the business including Front Office.

This role will get involved in new instrument approvals and onboarding processes ensuringthat new markets and investments can be supported operationally working extensively across the firm internally to coordinate as well as externally with new counterparties.

Prior experience of Charles River and product knowledge of private markets, property, infrastructure etc would be highly advantageous however not essential.
