    Class Teacher
    St Crispin's Special School

    Salary: £32, - £48,
    Hours: 35 per week

    St Crispin's is a non-denominational special school for primary and secondary learners. The school meets the needs of learners with complex, long term additional support needs who require a significantly modified learning environment. The needs of learners are primarily associated with learning disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders.

    In we moved into our brand-new building in the Burdiehouse area of the city. The new school has 12 classrooms. There are dedicated classrooms for Art, Music, Home Economics and PE, as well as a variety of teaching/activity spaces e.g. sensory rooms, soft play areas, library, swimming pool and ample outdoor space.

    Each class has six learners and teachers are supported by team of Nursery Nurses and Pupil Support Assistants.

    St Crispin's is expanding and in August we will welcome 2 additional classes.

    It is desirable that applicants should have experience working with children with intellectual disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Applications are welcome from Primary or Secondary teachers.
