    Job Title:
    Teaching Assistant (Primary)

    Start Date:
    September 2024 (Full-time, Permanent role)

    GSL Education is seeking inspiring and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our client primary schools in High peak, Derbyshire.

    The main duties as a Teaching Assistant will include:

    Supporting the pupils in their education
    Have the ability to adapt to teaching at different settings and be flexible with their work
    Supporting and delivering creative and innovative lessons
    Assessing phonics following the school's chosen program
    Must have a driving license.
    Must have business use of their insurance and be committed for long term.
    Must be able to work with vulnerable and challenging pupils in a school environment.


    Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and the successful applicant must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
