Finance Business Partner - North of England - About the role

To provide insight into the financial performance, aid planning and forecasting and deliver a strong reporting process alongside the various business units of my client's Specialty Division.

Finance Business Partner - Key duties
Work in close partnership with the Regional Director, Branch Directors and Head of Finance of Specialty to provide accurate and comprehensive annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts

Conduct monthly review meetings with the Regional Director, Branch Directors and other budget holders and to act as a key point of contact to support the business

Monthly cost review to ensure costs are in line with budget with any deviations from plan reported and explained

Provide monthly reporting to the Head of Finance and CEO of business performance against budget/forecast together with risks and opportunities for the remainder of the year

Build strong relations and provide financial support to commercial decision making

Challenge current ways of working, driving efficiencies and cost savings wherever possible

Annual budgeting for Group central cost base as well as longer term planning (3 year)

Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required

Aid Integration of newly acquired businesses

Finance Business Partner - Key duties
Essential - Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or qualified by experience

Commercial Finance experience working in a fast-paced growth environment

Insurance experience and knowledge

Finance business partner experience

Budgeting and Planning experience as well as monthly reporting

Financial modelling

Microsoft Excel (advanced)
