Job Title:
Reception Teacher (Maternity Cover)


Location:
Northfield, Birmingham


Start Date:
March 2023


Duration:
Long-term (maternity cover)


Key Responsibilities:
Planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons to our Reception class

Assessing and monitoring the progress of pupils and providing regular feedback to parents

Differentiating instruction to meet the needs of pupils with diverse learning styles

Collaborating with colleagues to plan and deliver a cohesive curriculum

Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment

Maintaining accurate records and reports


Key Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience teaching in the early years

Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum

Excellent classroom management skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work well in a team
