    Description

    A local authority based in North-West London is seeking a Prosecutions/ Litigation Lawyer for an initial period of three months.

    The successful Prosecutions Lawyer will be required to advise on a broad range of matters. You must have experience in all the areas listed below:

    • Housing benefit and tax fraud,
    • Planning contraventions,
    • Fly tipping,
    • Health & safety,
    • Food hygiene,
    • Licensing,
    • Trading standards,
    • Noise pollutions.

    You will be required to advocate on behalf of the council at both Magistrates and Crown Courts.

    Previous local government experience is highly advantageous. You must have a current practising certificate to be considered for the role.

    Our client is seeking candidates available on no more than 2 weeks' notice. This is a hybrid role.

    Pay rate for the role is dependent on experience between £35-55 per hour.
