Health & Safety Consultant - Fantastic Opportunity

West Midlands region
- remote with regular travel to client sites (75 mile radius with some ad hoc travel to further sites)

Supportive team and great working environment
Up to £46k plus car allowance (£450 a month), ongoing training and professional development.
You will ideally be located in or around the West Midlands
Coventry, Birmingham, Lichfield, Stoke on Trent, Wolverhampton, Worcester.

A super opportunity for an aspiring health & safety professional to join our clients growing health and safety consultancy.

About you:

Good Health & Safety background with appropriate technical and professional qualifications, as well as a strong knowledge of codes of practice / industry standards.
A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and building and nurturing vital partnerships with clients.
Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills.

This role will require travel in your allocated area on a regular basis to client sites for review appointments, and on some occasions supporting other areas of the UK.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately identify client requirements through reviewing client's premises / sites to ensure needs and expectations are met in accordance with their contracted services.
Preparation and installation of client Health &Safety policy documentation and inspection reports within agreed Key Performance Indicators.
Provision of client training as appropriate to their contracted service and use of their health & safety management system.
Advising clients on standards and best practice affecting their business.
Provide ongoing support to our client base through strong relationship management.

Qualifications

As a minimum you should be qualified at NEBOSH General / NCRQ/NVQ Level
You will ideally hold TechIOSH and actively working towards or be willing to work towards Chartered status, to demonstrate your commitment and passion within your field.
Minimum 2 years field based work experience within a front line health and safety line.
Good working knowledge of H&S auditing software packages.
