I am looking to speak with a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer situated in Derby who is looking for an opportunity at one of the UK's most well respected small to medium sized multi-disciplinary consultancies.


As a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer you will have the opportunity to work within an award winning team on large scale brownfield land development and contaminated land projects getting involved ion these projects from inception through to completion frommanagement to technical delivery and commercial awareness.


The responsibilities of a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer surround supervising GI's and technical reporting for both contaminated land and geotechnical advice, including interpretation, remediation strategies, risk assessments, earthworks specificationsand working closely with the civil and structural engineers on foundation design recommendations as well as bearing capacity analysis.


Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer specification:

  • Relevant scientific background in Geology, Environmental Sciences, Hydrogeology, Geological Engineering, or Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Proven track record in geo environmental work and experience across a range of projects, ideally gained within a consulting or contracting environment
  • Experience in the delivery of site investigations and supervision of subcontractors
  • Extensive logging experience and the use of all drill rigs including trial pitting, cable procession, window sampling etc.
  • Gained all tickets for site works (Cat and Jenny etc.)
  • UK driving licence
