As our Senior Compliance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in guaranteeing that law firms that receive litigation funding uphold compliance with regulatory guidelines and effectively advance their cases. Your responsibilities will include auditing, compliance oversight, and collaborating with law firms to enhance their case management practices.

Responsibilities:

Compliance Oversight:

• Conduct thorough audits of law firms to assess their compliance with internal and external regulatory standards.
• Maintain the internal database with current information on actions, dates, and next steps related to compliance and audit tasks.
• Enhance the audit system by reviewing questions, reporting methods, and data collected to align with business goals.
• Regularly review law firm due diligence and SRA information to keep compliance records up to date.

Audit Management (Pre 12 Months):

• Follow up on corrective actions resulting from external audits conducted with law firms.
• Support the coordination of external audits for all cases within twelve months, including planning audit timetables and ensuring prompt completion.
• Schedule calls or meetings with law firms to oversee case advancement, assess their approach to schemes, and document crucial milestone dates.
• Collaborate with external auditors to prepare audit reports for stakeholder updates.

Audit and Review (Post 12 Months):

• Conduct detailed evaluations of a selection of cases spanning 18 months, performing audits and overseeing follow-up actions.
• Organize calls or meetings with law firms to monitor case progress, evaluate their scheme approach, and note significant litigation milestones.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Develop know-how and user guides for the audit process to ensure uniformity across Sentry Auditing tasks.
• Periodically create additional reports for shareholder review purposes.
• Produce comprehensive and actionable reports on audit discoveries, compliance status, and case advancement.
