Description

We are looking for a Finance Manager working for one of the UKs leading mortgage lenders.

The client is highly regarded by customers for the service they provide for the community and are award winning for their employee engagement.

This is a minimum 6-monthcontract, working in a hybrid role whereby 1-2 days per week will be worked at their HQ in Coventry.

This role will see the Finance Manager involved in a wide variety of BAU and strategic projects including financial modelling development and supporting collateral, Team Leadership, Finance Transformation Projects plus more.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the department / division business as usual (BAU) financial management and control team and processes with the department leadership team and the central finance team
Stabilise, document and optimise the current financial management BAU operations
Support definition of current and future Financial Operating model
Support creation (including recruitment) of the permanent enduring team

Key Experience

Qualified Accountant
Experience of working within an internal department / division stakeholder and an understanding of working within an SME within a wider business
Experience in Financial Transformation Projects
Stakeholder Management
Change Management
