    Area Sales Executive needed in the construction sector.

    We're looking for a driven Area Sales Executive who has a successful track record of external business-to-business sales in the construction sector, ideally with an understanding of builders' merchants, agricultural merchants, DIY retailers, or garden centres.

    This role will play a key part in the business's retention-focused commercial strategy, ensuring a mature customer base is proactively engaged and developed whilst new opportunities are converted.


    Salary:
    £35k base salary + uncapped monthly paid commission + annual bonus (£5k OTE) + company car.

    Southern patch (focused on Greater London, Surrey, Kent, Essex, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Berkshire with occasional travel to the Southwest).

    Work in conjunction with the Sales Director to deliver upon the company's commercial strategy across your region.
    Regular travel as required to manage a large geographical territory of accounts.
    Managing the company's sales records in a CRM system.
    Conducting market research and analysis to identify industry trends and potential growth areas.
    Keeping up to date with industry developments, attending trade shows, and networking events.
