Sales Executive

Full time permanent role - office based

Mon-Fri

Haywards Heath area - due to rural and beautiful workplace location it is essential to be a driver and have your own transport
- plenty of free parking on site.


Salary:
£27000 basic salary with commission / bonus on top of around a further 10% per year


We are delighted to be assisting our busy, friendly and successful client who specialise in the outdoor events sector as they seek to recruit an additional Sales Executive to join their team due to strong company growth levels.

This a very exciting timeto join this company as they are expanding and growing their business on a local and regional level.


The role:


We are seeking a people person with a passion for outdoor events, sales and operations Excellent communication skills are a must but most importantly we are looking for a highly motivated, self-driven individual who is looking to dive into all things saleswithin this excellent business.


Duties / responsibilities:


Respond to sales and event enquiries in a timely, confident & professional manner, taking every opportunity to up sell and identify sales opportunities.

Manage both inbound and outbound enquiries.

Ensure a high conversion rate of enquiries to sales.

Generate and develop markets through research, sales calls and competitor data analysis.


Help produce detailed proposals for small to large outdoor events in conjunction with operational requirements for prospective clients, liaising to ascertain their precise event requirements and ensuring clients are aware of the full terms of business.

Send out booking confirmations, rental contracts, and issue deposit invoicing


Liaise with the operational team to ensure all event details are handed over so that service is delivered to meet and exceed the client expectations.

Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction, both pre, post and during each event. Conducting post event feedback requests to check satisfaction and secure repeat business if appropriate.

Research and develop markets to identify sales opportunities

Maximise profitability at all stages of the sales process.

To assist the management team with growing manufacturing sales, and identifying new opportunities in this area.


Work alongside the Bookkeeper to ensure all invoices are sent as per the terms and conditions, and that payments are monitored and chased accordingly.

To handle and resolve any customer complaints.


Skills and competencies required:

Sales experience / background

Confident, courteous, and professional with clients

Highly self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.

Target driven

Works well as part of a team

Organised and efficient

A good telephone manner

Knowledge of MS Office - good computer skills

Social media knowledge
