    Overview

    You will be required to provide a Proof of Right to Work in the UK. As applicable you must have a minimum of 6 months work eligibility available on the right to work documentation that you provide The Player Safety Team Leader leads our team in providing best-in-class, rockstar-level service in relation to safety for our Players. By working with, training and coaching our Associates; the Safety Team Leader ensures the highest safety is followed at all times to ensure Players have the best time of their lives. Safety Team Leader will also need to have hospitality leadership experience as they will be supporting players and playmakers at the venue. Additionally, the Player Safety Team Leader may be responsible for overseeing and upskilling other Playmakers to ensure that safety remains Topgolf's number one priority This might include (but would not be not limited to) Playmaker development and training, maintaining an active and visible presence on the tee-line and engaging with players in a friendly manner, ensuring a safe and fun environment while at Topgolf Key Responsibilities · Monitor players for signs of intoxication and act accordingly · Listen for signs of conflict between players or parties · Ensure bay occupancy maximums are adhered to · Enforce general safety rules such as the red-line, nets, and the elimination of trick shots and horseplay · Deploy de-escalation techniques when safety rules are not being followed · Remain alert for any suspicious persons or activities and reports immediately to venue security · Use of radio communication procedures and corresponding codes · Partner with management to develop protocols for warnings, stoppage of game play, slowing or discontinuation of alcohol service, removal from venue, and membership suspensions/bans · Make recommendations for safety enhancements as needed · Keep Director of Operations apprised of safety and security trends and opportunities · Support management with accident response, investigation and claim reporting · Oversee management and scheduling of third party security company · Liaison with local law enforcement as applicable · Additional tasks and project assistance as requested by Director of Operations What we're looking for Calm under pressure The successful candidate will have operational experience in the entertainment, retail, or hospitality industries (Demonstrated experience with dealing with the public) Confident and self-aware when dealing with difficult or emotional interactions Does not shy away from confrontation; utilizes skills and techniques to reduce conflict Comfortable communicating with diverse populations, including players of all ages and skill level Ability to exhibit patience and positivity while being assertive and firm when appropriate Strong guest service skills and professionalism Excellent oral and written communication skills including spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills. Experience in roles requiring the ability to work independently, anticipate next steps, take initiative, exercise discretion and sound judgment and work collaboratively as a member of the team. Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Proficiency in using risk management information systems preferred. Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays to support the business
