Are you an Estimator and keen to work for a principle contractor in growth mode?

Pettigrew Recruitment Group is delighted to be working with a very well respected, up and coming contractor who are looking to add an Estimator to their team.

With offices in Stepps, this growing contractor offer bespoke solutions to their clients across the FM, maintenance, fit out and refurbishment sectors across Scotland.

Throughout a challenging period in the industry they continue to thrive and have maintained and developed a strong pipeline for 2023 and beyond so can provide security to new members of staff joining them.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, duties of the role will include:

Analysis of client tender and specification documents.
Costing of work of all sizes fit out, construction and specialist services.
Breakdown of key joinery and building packages.
Packaging, tendering and analysis of subcontractor packages.
Supplier negotiation.
Materials research, procurement and supply.
Attend client tender meetings.
Prepare budgets.
Prepare and finalise tender documents and presentations with the Commercial Team.
Produce project programmes for tender submissions.
Contract management.
Variation management.

We are looking for an individual who has a flexible approach to their work, someone who is a self starter and recognises the opportunity in joining a growing business with large ambition.

You must be capable of working autonomously, be well organised and have the ability to communicate effectively with your internal team and external clients.
