GRAPHIC DESIGNER
The Opportunity
This is a role for a creative graphic designer to join our Sales and Marketing team and to make a valued contribution to the design of tenders, communications, digital and marketing materials.
You will join us throughout the tender process to gain a strong understanding of our clients so that you can design compelling tenders that make us stand out from the competition.
Essential Requirements - Production of corporate marketing material, Animation, Video Editing
The Package
£35k - £40k basic
Hybrid working between home and Shadwell
35 days holiday per year (including bank holidays)

The Role of the Graphic Designer
- Conceptualise, design, and produce a range of digital, photographical and traditional materials that increase the brands exposure and demand. These include, but are not limited to comprehensive ad campaign creatives, blog publications design, direct mail, banners, internal graphic elements, web and social media assets, corporate design, and possible recruitment materials
- Full involvement with tender processes to enable creative delivery of unique tenders including video content and innovative design approaches that make our brand stand out from the competition
- Assure that printed and online materials properly reflect our brand, messaging, tone and people focussed approach
- Manage production elements for all materials: review art direct illustrators, and maintain, organise, and archive artwork files
- Other design duties as assigned to advance projects, initiatives, and priorities of the brand
- Study competitor brands and present your findings/recommendations to the team
- Liaise with crossfunctional teams to ensure campaigns run smoothly and within deadlines
- Design of bid and tender proposals within Microsoft Word & InDesign
- Design of tender presentations via PowerPoint
The Person
- Proven graphic designing experience
- A creative team player who will contribute new design ideas
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Willingness to approach projects with a cando attitude and create processes where there isn't one
- Experience operating a variety of standard and specialpurpose still and/or video cameras
- Possess technical skills to edit graphics, videos and animation
- Experience with visual storytelling including illustration, video, and animation
- Expert knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat;
- Familiarity with design software and technologies such as Premier Pro, After Effects
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, Sharepoint)
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Ability to communicate, collaborate and advocate ideas as well as execute, take ownership and be handson
- Ability to work in high pressure environments and work to defined deadlines
- Desirable but not required working knowledge of frontend code using JavaScript, HTML and CSS
