The Maximising Independence Service (MIS) focuses on early resolution, prevention and promoting independence and wellbeing for all adults.

Its purpose is to help people to maximise their independence as much as possible by providing information, advice and guidance, setting short term goals and identifying support to achieve these goals.

Reablement teams within the MIS provide Occupational Therapy led, individually tailored, reablement programmes to promote independence and prevent or reduce the need for ongoing care and support needs.

The Mid START Team covers Ashfield and Mansfield and we are looking for a full time and a part time Occupational Therapist to join our friendly and effective multi disciplinary team.

Excellent clinical, peer and management support is provided, with extensive training and development opportunities.

Advanced remote working technology is provided to maximise efficiency, minimise travel and support a health work/life balance.
