Wall Colmonoy are currently recruiting Brazing Accessories Operatives.

A Brazing Accessories Operative is a key role in the organisation. It is the operator's role to understand processes and procedures, whilst adhering to designated Health, Safety and Environmental practices.

In addition to the tasks detailed below, the Operator may be asked to perform additional tasks which are not noted in this document which the Team Leader will deem fit.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Follow Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure that processes are carried out correctly within the department.
Highlight to the production Team Leader any maintenance requirements or process limitations within your work area.
Follow Inline Quality Assurance (QA) checks as per product specifications, eg. Viscosity measurements, flow test and air test.
Follow equipment clean down operations to ensure no cross contamination.
Adhere to designated Health and Safety requirements for your work areas and department including safe systems of work.
Challenge any misleading information or unclear instructions.
Inform production Team Leader of any quality control problems within the process.
Pack Brazing Accessories orders to customer requirements.
Complete process paperwork correctly with manufacturing data for Quality Control purposes and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data gathering.
Follow the daily production plan to ensure the manufacturing program is being met and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) are on target.
Ensure good standards of housekeeping and storage are maintained within the work area during your shift.
Ensure all environmental aspects and waste segregation are followed daily.

Ability to problem solve and propose improvement ideas

Rate of pay £11.55 per hour, 39 hours per week. Appropriate Shift Premium is paid on top of this.
