- To design profitable and commercial Financial Education programmes.
- To act as the primary point of contact for the client and to establish an effective relationship with them.
- To ensure all existing client contractual work is delivered within contract year.
- To maintain and grow a portfolio of clients to agreed objectives.
- To work very closely with colleagues across the business on the identification, profiling and conversion of new opportunities.
- To provide accurate reports incorporating activity and results.
- To update and maintain records on core systems.
- To work closely with the Financial Education support team to provide excellent service to clients.
- To maintain compliance in the Financial Education T&C scheme, inc CPD.
- To support the personal development of colleagues.
- To deliver engaging workshops and clinics to client employees, across a range of financial subjects, recognising the evolving needs of employees throughout their careers in both the face to face and virtual arena.
- To provide relevant and timely communications and engagement to client employees.
- To handle clients with diverse workforces, requiring a high level of experience and expertise.
- To support wider Mercer Private Wealth & Financial Wellbeing activity, eg. Identifying appropriate referrals to Financial Advice.
- Excellent Presentation and Facilitation skills
- Excellent Planning, Organising and Delivery skills
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience of working with clients and providing a consultative approach
- A good working knowledge of our Products and Services, along with knowledge of our company and the Market
- Compliance and operational risk knowledge
- Experience of negotiating and closing
- Experience of handling objections/Complaint resolution
- Problem solving and presenting solutions management skills
- Experience of working with the Management of information
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent, or with a willingness to work towards this
