    Key Responsibilities
    The main responsibilities are as follows:
    • Manage projects that deliver benefit to M&G plc. These will be wide-ranging in terms of subject / domain but will tend to be business change (and specifically, product delivery projects) rather than IT change projects.
    • Manage product development projects and fund launches from design through to launch;
    • Motivate a multi-disciplined team (and/or external) representatives to ensure the project delivers on time and within budget;
    • Ability to take a hands-on role within the project, working with fund managers and investment professionals;
    • Manage senior stakeholders; and
    • Build successful relationships with the project delivery partners, including external legal advice, fund administrator, trustee / custodian and auditor.

    Requirements and Experience
    This role is ideally suited to someone who can demonstrate:
    • Project management experience within investment management with an understanding of different approaches;
    • Experience in fixed income and private alternative assets e.g. Real Estate Debt, Private credit, Alternative Assets, Restructure, Leverage Loans and other esoteric instruments;
    • The Product Manager role encompasses true Project Management capabilities with Product Management expertise to deliver the optimum product outcome.
    • A proven track record of successfully leading on, and delivering fund launches and product change;
    • Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal, with excellent active listening skills;
    • Strong influence and negotiating skills with an ability to manage a variety of stakeholders;
    • Willingness to work to tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects, taking into account evolving business priorities;
    • Strong analytic and proven problem-solving skills with an ability to negotiate pragmatic solutions to meet conflicting business requirements;
    • Highly motivated, proactive and resilient;
    • Ability to be flexible and to manage ambiguity during project delivery;
    • Must be a team player and able to work with and through others;
    • Able to work effectively at all levels in an organisation, with strong relationship management skills; and
    • Good awareness of related regulations (e.g. UCITS, AIFMD, MiFID2 etc.).

    Ideally, but not obligatory:
    • IMC;
    • A project management qualification such as Prince 2;
    • Experience in the Agile Methodology; and
    • Systems such as JIRA and Teams
