Description

The Customer Service Officer (CSO) plays a vital role in the organisation, serving as the primary point of contact for all front-of-house and inbound communication, including reception and visitor liaison.

The primary objective is to deliver an efficient and effective service, ensuring a professional and responsive experience for our customers and visitors.

Responsibilities of the CSO include providing guidance, offering advice, and, when necessary, directing and assisting customers in resolving queries.

Additionally, the CSO is responsible for reporting information, collecting feedback, and taking any necessary actions to ensure a high standard of professional service and excellent customer care.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for residents, providers, stakeholders, and the public.
  • Provide outstanding and professional customer service by attentively listening to residents, taking necessary actions, and escalating issues to specialist teams when required.
  • Manage individual customer care cases and collaborate with the team to ensure resolutions are achieved, maintaining continuous communication throughout the process.
  • Guarantee adequate coverage of reception areas, delivering a professional service to our visitors.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of customer care services.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and work with colleagues to enhance service quality continuously.
  • Adhere to health and safety procedures consistently.
  • Direct customers to relevant services when appropriate.
  • Ensure timely and appropriate responses to resident inquiries.
  • Record all complaints or safeguarding concerns in a sensitive yet professional manner.
  • Adhere to all GDPR procedures.
