The Children in Care Health Team provides health and support for all children and young people that are placed in the care of BCP and Dorset councils.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.To provide high quality person centred care which always considers people's safety, privacy and dignity
To undertake health assessments for CiC to meet the requirements of both Dorset Healthcare and the Local Authorities. To ensure the health needs of the cohort are addressed in a timely manner. Monitoring of the health input required and ensuring effective outcomes are achieved.
To provide advanced clinical advice, leadership and support ensuring the needs of the service are met by exercising and demonstrating high levels of clinical judgement, critical analysis and advanced decision making skills.
