    Oliver Sanderson is engaged with a global Logistics company in search of a Sales and Account Manager.

    As a Sales and Account Manager you will play a key role in driving the growth and success of the company by identifying new business opportunities whilst building and maintaining strong relationships with a portfolio of customers with aim to improve customer spend.

    Key areas of focus:

    • Manage your own portfolio of existing customers.
    • Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products/services.
    • Develop relationships and partnerships with new and existing customers.
    • Serve as the main point of contact for customers.
    • Generate new leads and opportunities through various channels.
    • Meet sales targets within assigned accounts.
    • Achieve customer objectives defined by company management.
    • Work towards to achieving individual sales targets and KPIs and contribute to business goals.
    • Negotiate and successfully close sales opportunities.
    • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel both internally and externally.
    • Prepare regular reports for management to evaluate effectiveness.
    • Maintain and develop the CRM system.
    • Respond & follow up any business enquiries via telephone, email, and personal visits when necessary.

    The ideal candidate should excel in customer service and possess strong negotiation and communication skills to build and sustain customer relationships effectively. They must demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines. Self-motivation, initiative, and tenacity are essential traits, alongside being a proactive team player with enthusiasm. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and experience in a customer-facing role is preferred. Familiarity with CRM software, account management experience and prior sales experience are all desirable but not essential. You must be willing to drive nationwide and hold a full UK driving license.
