    Development Team Lead

    International Law Firm

    £55k - £62k basic + 7% Company Bonus + Company Benefits

    Hybrid – Northampton - Travel to the office twice per week

    We are proud to be working with an international law firm who are growing its technical team. Our client has over 14 offices across the globe and boasts a turnover of £190m+. They have a very strong client base including companies in the FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 and have a focus in the Energy & Infrastructure, Financial Services, Mobility and Technology sectors.

    Due to the appetite of transformation across the firm they are now looking for a Development Team Lead to play an integral part of overseeing the development and maintenance of the IT systems and services.

    You will be involved in all phases of the development of business-changing enterprise solutions leading a team of experienced developers to deliver outstanding services to the business and its users.

    You'll be tasked with regularly reviewing the development standards including software development and deployment lifecycles with other team leaders as well as designing, developing and maintaining software applications in accordance with software and security development lifecycles.

    You will also play a key part in testing all software development and resolve any issues, ensuring systems operate as they should be while contributing to third-tier support processes, resolving problems, documenting root causes, and improving service levels.

    Required Skills & Experience

    • 3+ years of experience having formally led technical development teams whilst still being able to be hands on and roll up your sleeves.
    • Experience with C#, .Net and other development tools/languages.
    • Hands on technical knowledge of Microsoft 365.
    • Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform.
    • Experience with SharePoint Online either as an Administrator or a Developer.
    • Degree educated preferably within an IT discipline.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in being a leader that drives by the front leading by example.
    • Experience with Enterprise Document Management Systems is desirable e.g. iManage, PandaDoc, Laserfiche, M-Files etc.
