    We are recruiting for a Specialist Radiographer who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

    As we grow and promote better patient care and experience, we are looking for experienced radiographers who have proven clinical ability in general radiography, and who have the desire to develop their own career and increase their expertise.

    As one of our band 6 Radiographers you'll join a friendly, energetic department with a lively calendar of social events.

    Candidates should be enthusiastic, flexible, forward thinking and highly motivated, with good communication skills and team working ethic.

    This is a full time post and is based at the Lister Hospital, Stevenage, but you will be required to travel to our sister sites at times. You will participate in our 24/7 shift pattern to provide excellent imaging to our patients.

    Main duties of the job

    Our diagnostic radiology service is provided by the Lister hospital, the new Queen Elizabeth II hospital and the Hertford County hospital and includes plain film, interventional, fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, NM SPECT, DXA and breast imaging.

    We have two 3T Siemens Skyra scanners and a MRI Avanto (re-fitted in November 2018) and 5 CT scanners, three Siemens (two Force and an AS+) and two Toshiba Primes.

    Our expanding interventional service includes interventional and fluoroscopy rooms within Radiology, a vascular fluoroscopy theatre machine and a dedicated recovery area.

    The Trust will be providing a 24/7 vascular hub for the region and this will include installation of a state of the art hybrid laboratory situated in theatres.

  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development
