Are you an experienced maintenance engineer looking to find a new role within a specialist company who works with some of the most well-known brands.

Our Sudbury-based client is looking for a maintenance engineer to join their engineering team, performingpre-planned and reactive maintenance on the latest generation of specialist machinery, mainly mechanical with some electrical work.

Although our client work with specialist equipment, full training will be given to you to understand these machines and if youwant to develop your maintenance engineering experience, further career opportunities can be provided, as our client are known to look after their staff and provide a very supportive environment.

The role

Reacting immediately to support calls
Carrying out required maintenance to resolve the issue
Support all those within the maintenance team
Responding to requests
Accurate logging of work for traceability and accountability
Ensuring machinery is maintained according to the manufacturer's instructions
Address quality issues reported by the Inspection department
Working hours are shiftbased and operate on an annualised hours pattern
Generally, shifts are 5am2pm and pm with Fridays being 27pm for 21 weeks and 5.30am
2pm and 211pm with Fridays being 27pm for 20 weeks but it is seasonal hence the annualised hours plan.

Required Experience:

Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
Possess an electrical/maintenance/mechanical and/or engineering qualification
Key eye for detail
Happy to work on a shift rota basis
Interest in electromechanical systems
Ideally, some experience gained from a maintenanceoriented mechanical/engineering/manufacturing or production environment.
