Proactive are currently in search of Mechanical Fitters to start work immediately in Wickford.


Role:
Mechanical Fitter


Location:
Cambridge


Salary:
£12.61ph - £15.50ph (Depending upon experience)

Hours: 08:00am - 16:30pm - overtime available

This is an exciting opportunity working for a world leader in measurement solutions, offering ample opportunity for progression, cross training and development.

Due to rapid expansion, our client is now recruiting experienced fitters and technicians to join the ever growing team.


Responsibilities :
Mechanical fitting
Assembly of sheet metal parts and components
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Use of hand tools
Any previous welding experience (tig) would be advantageous (not mandatory)Experience:

Automotive maintenance - Desirable
TIG welding - Desirable
Sheet metal fabrication
Use of machine tools & hand tools
