Role Title: Assistant Laboratory Technician

Duration: 12 months (chance of extension)
Location: Stevenage
Rate: £15.96 per hour - PAYE

Role purpose / summary

1. Be trained and responsible to clean, calibrate, and repair the same process engineering equipment in the laboratory
2. Order new parts or organize repair requests & deliver with external suppliers
3. Help to plan the CapEx and OpEx long-term plan for the department based on the existing equipment capability
4. Set-up process engineering equipment (e.g. pumps, vessels, impeller) prior experiments, and help with cleaning of the equipment post experimental work
5. Fully embrace all aspects of safety when working in the laboratory
6. Comply with applicable Data Integrity, Quality, cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice), and regulatory requirements in all aspects of work

Key Skills/requirements

• Organized, self-starter
• Experience of working in a GMP environment
• Seeking experience of cleaning within a laboratory environment
