    About the roleReporting to the Crikey Editor in chief and working with the Editor, Deputy Editor and Head of Production, you will collate, report and critique the news in Crikey's morning daily newsletter, the Worm.

    HoursThis is a part time role at 0.

    The hours are 20 hours per week, which consists of:

    Monday through Friday, 4 hours per dayLocationThis role is to collate the overnight AEST news for a morning daily newsletter that is sent to subscribers at 7am AEST each day.

    Hours are flexible provided you can collate and report the news that happens overnight AEST and file by 6am AEST.Salary informationThis role is positioned at a Band 2, Level 5 as per our EBA.

    Roles and responsibilitiesWritingYou will rewrite the morning's two to three top stories, find a quote of the day and source headlines, op-eds and events.

    You will be required to add context and often a dash of humour or critique to the morning's top stories.
