- Carry out maintenance and repairs to tanker bodies and all associated equipment and systems including; pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical circuits.
- Post build fabrication & modification of body equipment and associated parts to suit customer requirements.
- Periodic / post repair tank testing inspections and sign-off.
- Servicing both Whale and Non-Whale vehicles
- Repairs to both Whale and Non-Whale vehicles
- Carrying out welding repairs
- Completion of paperwork in a timely manner
- A background in welding is desirable
- Ability to drive is essential
- The ability to manage your own time
- Knowledge and experience working with commercial vehicles, plant machinery / HGV vehicles
- Be of a practical and decisive nature with the ability to use common sense when reviewing issues
- Have the desire to learn on a daily basis
- Be a good problem solver with the ability to see an issue to its end
- The ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- An engineering background including knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic and electric circuits

We are looking for an experienced Service Workshop Engineer based in our Workshop in Scotland.
Our ideal candidate will have background in welding along with knowledge and experience working with commercial vehicles, plant machinery and HGV vehicles.
