    eDiscovery Analyst

    London – hybrid 2 days in, 3 from home

    Salary up to £45,000 plus excellent benefits

    The role

    Legal technology (in particular eDiscovery, litigation/hearing support and due diligence/deal room software) provides lawyers with a competitive edge in the data-driven world we live in.

You will focus primarily on the technical aspects of handling client matter data, and partner and collaborate with your colleagues in the Team to support their delivery of matters.     Key Responsibilities

    • Follow global LegalTech Services Team processes, adhering to standards.
    • Provide eDiscovery, document disclosure, data room, and hearing preparation services.
    • Maintain chain-of-custody records for client data.
    • Manage virtual/physical processing machines for optimal performance.
    • Handle ingestion of new client data due to mergers or acquisitions.
    • Upload/download client data via various FTP platforms.
    • Run virus scanning software and stage data according to protocols.
    • Partner with IT for application support and troubleshooting.
    • Process data, upload documents, and execute keyword searches.
    • Manage access control, user accounts, and file/folder permissions.
    • Format and execute keyword searches, compile, manipulate, export, and encrypt load files.
    • Create hyperlinked document bundles and maintain Team, matter, and billing information.
    • Record time spent on billable and non-billable work with clear and sufficient detail.

    Skills and experience

    • Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with data processing in legal technology platforms.
    • Thorough understanding of load file productions and ability to manipulate them.
    • Proficiency in utilising Command Prompt and foundational understanding of programming languages (SQL / EDP).
    • Proven experience in a law firm, eDiscovery, or legal technology vendor.
    • Familiarity with Relativity One, Nuix, HighQ Collaborate, SharePoint, PowerBI, Opus 2, or other eDiscovery/legal technology platforms.
    • Effective oral and written communication skills.
    • Excellent organisational skills with acute attention to detail.
    • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise/manage multiple projects, and troubleshoot software applications.
    • Creative and critical thinking, willingness to ask questions, and drive to innovate and introduce new ideas.
