    Description
    We're expanding our Warehouse team here at Octopus Energy ECO (Energy Company Obligation) .

    We're looking for a Warehouse Operative and Delivery Driver to join us in our Sheffield office who will work closely with the entire logistics operation.

    You will be mainly responsible for ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our Sheffield warehouse facility.

    Your primary duties will include receiving, storing & picking goods while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

    Other responsibilities include assisting with periodic cycle counts, stock takes, and inventory reconciliation activities.
    What will you have?
    You will have experience working in a warehouse or distribution centre.

    You will be able to speak confidently and comfortably directly with customers with a friendly, proactive and 'can do attitude' - we'll do everything to make the customer experience perfect Proficiency in Google Suite and/or using warehouse management systems or inventory software is highly desirable.

    You will also need Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 3 points) if asked on occasion to deliver goods.

    What you'll do
    Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents against purchase orders.
    Unload goods from delivery vehicles and safely store them in designated warehouse locations.
    Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications and packing guidelines.
    Prepare orders for dispatch by carefully packaging items, affixing labels, and arranging for carrier pickup or delivery.
    Perform regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records using electronic systems or manual counts.
    Keep warehouse areas clean, organised, and free from hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
    Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently.
    Assist with periodic cycle counts, stocktake, and inventory reconciliation activities.
    Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure smooth workflow and timely resolution of issues.
    What we offer
    Salary £26,000 basic + £2,500 annual bonus based on KPIs
