    We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Water Process Engineer to join our team based in Exeter. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and implementing water treatment processes.

    You will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective treatment of water for various purposes, such as drinking water, industrial processes, wastewater treatment, and environmental conservation.

    Your expertise will contribute to the development and maintenance of sustainable water management systems.

    Design and develop innovative water treatment processes, systems, and technologies based on project requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the feasibility of implementing new water treatment technologies, considering factors such as cost, efficiency, reliability, and environmental impact.

    Perform detailed process simulations and modeling using specialized software tools to optimize water treatment processes and predict system performance.

    Monitor and analyze data from water treatment plants, assessing performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

    Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines for the operation and maintenance of water treatment systems, ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.

    Suitable science or engineering qualifications
    A good understanding of the responsibilities of water companies, lead local flood authorities and Environment Agency in relation to flood risk and drainage;
    Experience of modelling of surface water drainage, watercourses and waste water networks, preferably using Infoworks ICM and the use of 2D;
    Experience of planning, designing and implementing SUDS;
    Previous experience of an engineering organisation

    Excellent Technical Skill relating to delivery of engineering solutions to flooding issues, design of drainage and hydraulic modelling processes.

    Microsoft office suite.
