About the roleTo champion and assure the project management standards within the Operations directorate.
To be custodian of project assurance methods and techniques within the Programme Office.
To provide project assurance and support to the Operations directorate.
To lead and improve programme and project assurance across the Programme Office's remit.
To analyse and improve project and programme planning and performance, providing insight through progress reporting.
To support and advise programme and project delivery teams on best practice for programme and project assurance and planning.
Essential experienceAPM, Prince 2 or similar qualification.
Solid understanding of PMO process, standards, and governance; experience of operational management within a PMO function.
Experience of planning and co-ordinating Programmes.
Experience of writing and assuring project documentation.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas via strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills to all levels of seniority and disciplines.
A team player, with excellent collaboration and influencing skills at all levels, from front line to senior leadership.Other roles you may have applied for:
