My client is a large Housing Association who have an opportunity for a Major Works Programme Manager.

As a Major Works Programme Manager, you will manage the delivery of planned investment programmes and provide leadership to the team of Capital Works Surveyors/Project Managers/Clerk of Works/Resident Liaison Officers.

To effectively manage partnered and JCT contractors and consultants, procuring additional works contracts and staff resources where necessary.

Managing the contractors and ensuring the delivery of complex investment projects on time, budget and to a high standard of quality, ensuring value for money and excellent service provision.

Ensuring that procurement and competitively tendered contracts meet agreed contractor selection processes and health and safety standards, and that statutory requirements including the Public Contracts Regulations are adhered to.

Overseeing and supporting the Major Project Surveyors as required in the development of survey-based specifications and tendering and procurement processes.

Effectively managing relationships with contract partners, consultants, and supply chain to ensure contractual, procurement, statutory and regulatory compliance.

Establishing and implementing effective working arrangements & practices to ensure a consistent level of service delivery in line with the Housing Associations business plan.

This role will require a UK driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
A minimum of 1 to 2 days working in their Sutton office is required.
