Description

You will be developing and implementing social media engagements, immersive experiences and gaming strategies to enhance our brand's digital presence and engage our audiences.

Your expertise in creating captivating content, leveraging social media platforms, and exploring emerging technologies will be crucial in achieving our company objectives.


Working closely with the Marketing Technologies (Martech), Analytics & SEO and Digital Solutions teams to ensure that social media plans are effectively integrated into brand marketing and paid media efforts and leverage any potential earned and owned media opportunities.


You will also partner with key social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube, Twitter and TikTok and seek out and develop new and emerging platforms that can help us grow our customer base and brand.


What's the role?


The Head of Digital Amplification Platforms will be responsible for providing the digital amplification strategy and guidelines covering social media, gaming, and immersive platforms.


Accountabilities

Social Media Strategy and Execution

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies that align with business goals and drive engagement and advocacy.
  • Oversee the social media channels, ensuring content is compelling, onbrand, and optimised for each platform.
  • Monitor and analyse social media performance metrics, making datadriven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain a content quality assurance review process that aligns closely with the content leads and community managers. Ensure timely completion and distribution of social content with quality, accuracy, and publication.

Gaming and Immersive Experiences Integration

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to integrate gaming and immersive experiences into the brand's digital amplification strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage gaming platforms and technologies to engage and captivate audiences, fostering brand loyalty and driving user participation.
  • Stay informed about gaming trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to enhance the brand's gaming and immersive experiences offerings.

Content Creation and Curation

  • Develop guidelines and frameworks for creating captivating content that leverages immersive experiences and gaming elements.
  • Oversee the creation and curation of highquality, engaging content for social media platforms, incorporating immersive experiences and gaming where relevant.
  • Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines, resonates with target audiences, and supports the overall content strategy.

Platform Partnerships and Innovation

  • Establish and maintain partnerships with social media platforms, gaming companies, and emerging technology providers.
  • Explore and evaluate emerging platforms and technologies to enhance the brand's digital amplification efforts, including virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and interactive experiences.
  • Foster relationships with platform representatives and collaborate on joint initiatives to maximise reach and impact.

Performance Analysis and Reporting

  • Analysis of social media performance, gaming initiatives, and immersive experiences to measure effectiveness and identify areas for optimisation.
  • Provide stakeholders and senior management with regular reports and insights on key metrics, trends, and successes.
  • Collaborate with the analytics team to develop robust tracking mechanisms and establish KPIs for digital amplification efforts.

What we need from you
Besides this, we would also like to see the following:

  • Degree or equivalent, Communications, Marketing, or a relevant discipline.
  • Strong experience developing digital content strategies and articulating those strategies with broader marketing and communication objectives.
  • Experience with all types of digital media (mobile, display, search, video, apps).
  • Experience working collaboratively with community managers, website managers and content/campaign owners.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills, specific to digital channels.
  • Experience with Social Media distribution platforms (e.g. Sprinklr, Percolate etc.).
  • Experience with capabilities building/developing training in social media, Gaming and Immersive experiences

Essential skills:

  • Effectively operate within a fastpaced, constantly evolving team environment.
  • A Digital and social media champion, genuinely passionate and enthusiastic about social and putting the consumer at the core of activation.
  • Experience in strategizing metaverse experiences across different platforms, such as PC, console, mobile, and web, ensuring compatibility and optimised performance.
  • A global citizen with knowledge and experience of multiple markets, social media landscape and agile and nimble in interacting with markets.
  • Possess a strong track record of managing multiple complex projects involving crossfunctional team
