This is an established Prop Tech company based in Oxford that provide building management software to property companies across the UK.

They already work with many of the biggest names in the industry and have over 150,000 monthly users.

While they are alreadywell established, this is an ambitious company with a start-up style culture and there is plenty of room for growth within the business.


Finance Manager character profile:

  • ACCA qualification would be hugely beneficial but this is not absolutely necessary
  • Degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field
  • 23 years of experience in a finance role
  • An interest in property / real estate
  • An understanding of data privacy standards
  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A deep understanding of business principles and practices
  • Good with technology and systems, and meticulous in your work

Finance Manager job role:

  • Monitor the daytoday financial operations within the Group & all the subsidiaries
  • Liaise with external services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary, including HMRC
  • Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement and red flags
  • Review financial data and prepare monthly management accounts and draft year end accounts for each company in the Group
  • Prepare and present financial reports
  • Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes
  • Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation
  • Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company
  • Credit control
  • Budget and forecast preparation
  • Cashflow Management
  • Preparing VAT returns
