Nelson Permanent Permanent placements are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, this is an excellent opportunity to work with our client who are a global leader within the chemical industry.

Reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Manager, you'll lead a team in preventative and reactive maintenance, handling diverse industrial equipment.

Hours: 40 per week (Mon - Fri 8:00am - 4:30pm)

Salary:
Excellent salary D.O.E

Supervise mechanical maintenance teams in an industrial production setting.
Manage various mechanical equipment (e.g., Gearboxes, pumps, mechanical seals).
Proficiently use Computerised Maintenance Management Systems and standard software.
Mentor and train staff as needed.
Interpret equipment drawings, manuals, and technical information.

Qualifications/Training:

Minimum RQF level 3 education (e.g., City & Guilds level 3) in Mechanical Fitting/Engineering.
Three years minimum supervisory experience in industrial mechanical maintenance.
