DevOps Engineer - Linux & Public Cloud (AWS or GCP) - Crypto

This is a unique role to work for a Fintech that is building the de facto institutional trading platform for investment in the cryptocurrency space.

Written in a highly secured and scalable way, the platform has been tried and tested as well as backed byone of the largest UK hedge funds and multi-national banks - globally.

BIG HEY?

You will be joining an established Engineering Team in a company of circa 100 employees.

Our client's offices are based in Baker Street and ideally, you will be expected to attend the offices once a week to collaborate with your manager and the other teammembers but fully remote is an option depending on your experience/locality.

Essential skills:

Linux engineering very solid experience is ESSENTIAL.
Public Cloud experience (Our client uses GCP, but any public cloud exposure is ok such as AWS, Azure etc). Naturally, you will have to be happy to work in GCP as this is our client's chosen production and dev environment.
Automation and a passion for DevOps methodology and working practices

Our clients' other tools/tech stack you will get exposure to:

CI/CD
GitHub Actions or other.
Terraform and Pulumi for automation.
Networking technologies (DNS, Firewalls, Load Balancers VPNs routings).
Cyber security and cryptography.
