    Description


    Delivery Manager | Product / SaaS SDLC | Global Fintech CompanyAn exciting opportunity to work for a global company that has developed a SaaS product catering to financial institutions.

    It offers real-time feeds and pricing of niche financial market information and is comparable with Bloomberg and Reuters. The firm is privately owned and has circa 800 employees worldwide, with its headquarters in London.
    This is a newly created position and you will be reporting to the CTO. You will be inheriting a team of circa five people which will be transitioned into your department.


    The team will consist of:


    Agile LeadScrum MasterRelease ManagerQA Engineers (circa 3)Your major stakeholders also report to the CTO and comprise x3 Software Engineering Managers (managing circa 30 developers) and a Head of SRE (managing 5 SREs).

    These four managers will be your day-to-day contacts.

    There will be other technical and non-technical stakeholders that you will be working with too such as the Head of Product and Programme Managers for critical projects and vendor management.


    The role:

    The majority of this role will require you to identify blockers in software delivery and work with your team and major stakeholders to provide strategic input to de-bottleneck delivery and releases.

    The company is heavily focused on mergers and acquisitions, and they integrate new businesses and technology into the 'mothership' so there are integration projects to be working on here too.

    Managing your team and offering strategic input on how you want to drive delivery will consist of 50% of the role.

    The other 50% will be split into stakeholder management and program/project-related duties.
    Non-negotiables:A solid engineering and SDLC background, ideally working for a product/SaaS company.
    Strong gravitas and ability to liaise with a multitude of stakeholders across the technical and non-technical teams.

    Our client is constantly growing via M&A so there's a consistent stream of projects, transformation and change.
    It's essential you're all over the process, removing technical and non-technical blockers.
    Ascertain strategy and best options for the stakeholders and drive efficiency.
