We're delighted to be partnering exclusively with a growing, international Retail business in their search for a FP&A Manager.
This key position will suit a qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with significant post qualified experience in a similar FP&A/commercialrole.

The company is Bristol based, offering great flexibility with staff on site 2 days per week and parking on site available.

Responsibilities of the FP&A Manager will include but not limited to:

  • Periodic review of actual performance versus budget/3-year plan/forecast to analyse variances and update assumptions in models where applicable
  • Ownership of input assumptions, models and output for P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
  • Develop best practice models and reporting for all planning and forecasting activities
  • Forecasting and planning for key strategic and tactical initiatives
  • Ownership of weekly Executive Board reporting pack
  • Ownership of FP&A contributions to monthly management accounts reporting pack
  • Provision of a range of analysis (budgeting and forecasting, profitability, commercial)
  • Ownership of investment appraisal models for new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, senior managers and their teams
  • Provide effective commercial procedures, or initiating change, to ensure key commercial and financial targets are delivered
  • Line management, coaching and development of 1 direct report

Key competencies required of the FP&A Manager:

  • Significant experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
  • Ability to work and communicate with nonfinancial executives and managers
  • Experience working with FP&A software and /or Power BI would be a distinct advantage
This role sits within IR35.
