Bosco Teacher Training is looking to appoint an ambitious, hardworking and talented primary specialist to lead our teacher training hub for our partnership of schools across West Sussex.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to be seconded on a part time basis from their exisiting school, for two days per week. You would lead the training and development of our cohort of primary trainee teachers. Bosco TT is in our fith year working with Teach SouthEast to deliver a satellite hub of their SCITT programme, to secondary trainee teachers in Sussex. The secondary hub is based at St Philip Howard Catholic School, Barnham. In September 2024, we will have our second cohort of primary trainees in our Sussex Hub. The primary hub is based at St Mary's Catholic Primary School in Worthing. Our trainees will be placed mostly, but not exclusively, in our Bosco CET and Catholic diocese schools.

We are looking for a primary specialist to lead training sessions, co-ordinate other expert colleagues to deliver training sessions and help assess the trainees towards their award of QTS. Through our training programme we are able to award QTS and we work in partnership with the University of Sussex to award the PGCE. We are passionate about school-centered ITT and believe we have the expertise in our trust and partner schools to train outstanding teachers of the future. If you are passionate about working alongside teachers at the very start of their journey, with a caring and committed team of primary specialists, this is the job for you.
