Job Title:
Learning Support Assistant


Contract:
Fixed term until 31/08/24 (linked to SEN funding)


Hours:31.33 hours per week (Term time, plus 2 Inset Training days only)

8.30am - 4.00pm (except Thursday 8.30am - 3.50pm, Friday 8.30am - 3.00pm)

(20 minute & 40 minute unpaid break each day)

(with opportunity for additional paid overtime to supervise reading & literacy interventions, student enrichment clubs, lunch duties, and student work at lunchtime and after school).


Salary:
Salary Scale 3, Points 5 to 6: (£23,500 - £23,893) pro rata

Actual Salary:
£17,172 - £17,460

Stockport School is looking to appoint Learning Support Assistants to support teaching, learning and progress, and the development of independent learning skills of students with additional learning needs, particularly including those with EHCPs and those at SEN School Support.


The school is a very popular over-subscribed school with year-on-year improving results and the quality and consistency of our in-class curriculum support and supportive intervention and enrichment supervision are important to our ongoing progress and success.


This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding individual who has the relevant experience, commitment and drive and who is passionate about encouraging every child to reach their full potential within a supportive academic environment.


The hours of work are 31.33 per week, 8.30am - 4.00pm (except Thursday 8.30am - 3.50pm and Friday 8.30am - 3.00pm) on a term time, plus 2 Inset Training days only contract.

Additional paid overtime hours are also available to attend meetings where necessary, and to supervise reading & literacy interventions, student enrichment clubs, lunch duties, and student work at lunchtime and after school).
