- Ensure production runs are completed on time and to required specifications / quality
- Planning / scheduling / prioritising work
- Training and supervision of a small team of assembly and machine operatives
- Manage stock levels of materials and components as required
- Assist with setting up machines e.g. spot welders, grinders, presses and more
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements

Description
Our client is an established manufacturing company and due to their continued success Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Assembly Supervisor.
The Role:
The Assembly Supervisor will be will be responsible for supervising a small team of assembly and machine operatives in a busy finishing area.
Adopting a 'hands-on' approach the Assembly Supervisor will be responsible for the following;
Candidate:
You will have previous experience in a metal assembly / finishing environment and you will have at least 3 years supervisory experience.
Applicants will have good mechanical engineering knowledge with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Experience in operating fly presses, bushing machines and hand tools is a required.
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm (39 hours)
