Multiskilled Engineer – Electrical Bias
Highly successful growing Chilled Food company

Location:
Ealing/Acton/Shepherd's Bush area

Salary:
Up to £50,000 - PAID WEEKLY - plus benefits

Night Rotation: 4 on/4 off
Background in electrical/mechanical engineering – Ideally 60/40 Split Electrical/Mechanical (will consider 70/30)

The Role:
The Multiskilled Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day engineering function - completing planned preventive maintenance & reactive breakdown using Best Engineering Practices through knowledge & behaviour

The Multiskilled Engineer will also work following GMP, SHE & TFMS/BRC policy as well as completing Audit & closing the action promptly, keeping a record for traceability.

The MS Engineer will be responsible for delivering Plant Uptime & Maintenance KPIs through planned, preventative & predictive maintenance.
Report to & support the Engineering Head of Department
Support the team & assist in developing other engineers/machine operatives
Lead effective communication between shifts
Liaise with contractor & issue PTW

Required Experience:
Experience Multiskilled Engineer from a food manufacturing (chilled food, ready meals, food to go) background
FMCG Experience
MUST be electrically qualified

Electrical Bias:
Around 60/40 ideally

Happy with flexible to work shifts – 4 on 4 off days/nights in rotation: 12 hour shifts
Great communication skills & the ability to manage contractor on site
Ability to work under pressure & happy to work in a chilled environment
Computer literate & able to read/understand Electrical & Mechanical Drawings
Happy to roll sleeves up & get stuck in – able to look after all machinery on site, including manual handling, sometimes at height & in varying temperatures
H&S and Food Hygiene trained
Comfortable to work ever-changing environment as the company continues its growth.
