Job summary:


Do you want to work for the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) and care for the Defence Estate? DIO is part of the Ministry of Defence (MOD).

DIO enables Defence to live, work, train and deploy, all with sustainability in mind.

We play a vital role in supporting defence, providing the armed forces and their families with a fit-for-purpose estate that includes accommodation.

As part of MOD, we are responsible for all acquisition, disposal, allocation of assets, construction, and maintenance of estate infrastructure in the UK and abroad.

Our people share the common goal of supporting our armed forces through management of the military estate.

We employ approximately 4,900 staff from a truly diverse range of professions including head office functions and specialisms such as surveyors, town planners, airfield pavement experts, foresters, and construction engineers.

We work across the world, in Germany, Cyprus and the Falkland Islands, Norway, Poland, Kenya, Belize, Nepal and Oman.

This position is advertised at 37 hours per week not inclusive of meal breaks.


Job description:


The Regional Delivery Accommodation (RDA) Admin Officer Regional Data Support is accountable for ensuring their team adhere and conform with all agreed DIO TLB processes and operating procedures, and particularly those which are detailed under the key infrastructure process.

Due to the role and responsibilities of the position, only full-time with flexible working is offered.


Job Description:


Who are we looking for?

  • Duties required of the Regional Data Support officer will include but are not limited to:

  • Leadership and Management of Regional Delivery Accommodation
  • Support team in delivering departmental goals
  • Promote strong working relationships within internal and external teams

Data Support

  • Responsible for monitoring, verifying and reporting contract deliverables
  • Provide trend analysis and report risks
  • Responsible for prompt distribution of assurance monitoring tasks to the team
  • Coordinate, collate and present data required by team

Administrative Support

  • Support Area Housing Manager and team in providing an effective and efficient delivery of support services
  • Provide administrative support to regional staff
  • Manage the region's fleet vehicles in accordance with current departmental policy guidelines and instructions

Meetings and Travel Management

  • Arrange meetings, venues and travel across the region, ensuring all bookings meet value for money policy
  • Manage meeting arrangements as required

Travel Requirements


Travel is not part of the role but occasional travel to sites within different sites and occasional overnight stays may be required.

A Full UK Driving Licence would be desirable.

About our Team
DIO Regional Delivery Accommodation (RDA) is responsible for providing Service Family Accommodation (SFA) in the UK. This includes the management of circa 50,000 properties.

Providing a comprehensive repair and maintenance service together with major upgrades and other improvement works and managing the allocation of SFA to Service Personnel.
