    The Manchester College is based at many sites across the city, each with its own specialist cutting edge facilities within a friendly and supportive environment.

    We are the largest FE college in the UK providing education and training to a wide range of learners.


    We have an exciting opportunity to join us as Site Duty Manager on a permanent, full time (35 hours per week) basis.


    As Site Duty Manager you will work across all sites leading a team of 5 Site Duty Officers across 5 sites, you will plan, monitor, and review procedures to deliver an excellent service to all staff and students on site by ensuring the effective deployment and monitoring of site duty resources.

    You will ensure that the campus environments are safe, with a focus on managing Health and Safety compliance, First Aid, and Fire regulations, supporting the campus estate strategy and coordinating space for college wide events.


    The post will also require you to provide a comprehensive range of support the HoD Campus Operations and Projects and Director of Campus Operations including gathering and analysing data, supporting with procurement exercises and other activities relevant to the role.

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    Qualified to Level 4 or relevant industry experience.
    Minimum of Level 2 English and Maths, or equivalent.
    First Aid qualifications (or willingness to work towards).
    Health & Safety qualifications (or willingness to work towards)
    Experience of working with young people/adults in an education or similar environment.
    Experience of managing incidents under pressure.
    Experience of managing challenging behaviours.
    Experience of using IT systems to manage performance and bring about improvement
    Demonstrable record of achievement against targets and deadlines
    Strong mentoring and coaching skills
    Ability to foster a culture of teamwork and one team approach
