You will provide expert advice, guidance, and support on a wide range of HR issues, including casework management, workforce planning and resourcing strategies.

Page Personnel are presenting a Industrial/ Manufacturing Business based in Birmingham.


Description
The key responsibilities of the Senior HR Advisor will;

  • Advise and support management of key areas within the business including employment costs, employee turnover and absenteeism
  • Establish effective retention strategies to minimise staff turnover.
  • Reduce absenteeism by supporting managers to deal with short and longterm absences.
  • Support line management to manage the performance of their people.
  • Advise and support managers with disciplinary and grievance issues ensuring compliance with current legislation and internal policy & procedure.
  • Develop the people skills of managers through coaching, feedback and support so that they can manage and develop their staff effectively
  • Identify training & development needs across the business and to take an active role in the implementation of effective training interventions

Profile
The successful HR Advisor will have;

  • Ideally be CIPD qualified or have a degree level qualification.
  • Experience of providing complex employee relations/generalist HR advice and guidance to managers.
  • Have indepth expert knowledge of current HR legislation.
  • Have good planning and project management skills
  • Competent in a broad range of HR activities
  • Working knowledge of employment legislation

Job Offer
The Senior HR Advisor will be offered;

  • Up to £40,000 salary
  • Permanent role
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Hybrid working 4 days on site
