The role sits in the Vendor Alliance team who are responsible for the day-to-day relationship, management, and engagement of a select number of Softcat's top vendor partners.

Provide a pivotal support to the Microsoft team


This individual will be responsible for working closely with the Microsoft team, assisting with the day-to-day management of CSP operational queries, from both the sales team and customers, as well as working closely with a wide range of internal teams at Softcat to ensure CSP operations excellence is in place to successfully support changes and updates from Microsoft and continue to be the number one CSP provider in the UK.

As a Senior Microsoft Operations CSP(Cloud Solution Provider) Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Day to day management of the CSP management inbox and supporting with CSP billing issues, credit/hits and manual orders
  • Managing the CSP incentives and responsible for updating the CSP services description
  • Building strong relationships with wider business and collaborating with Systems Dev, eCAT, Projects, IT support & Security & the Microsoft team
  • Being the first point of contact for any CSP updates and responsible for hosting calls for the stakeholders
  • Ensuring the required Dev work is completed to enable Softcat to continue to lead as a CSP provider

We'd love you to have

  • Previous Microsoft Operations experience and knowledge of Microsoft tools is desirable
  • A passion for providing extremely high levels of customer service
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and maintain a high level of attention to detail
  • Being proactive in their approach and be able to work on their own as well as part of the team
